Seeing a Langematik Anniversary is always a pleasure and a pain. The pain to have " lost " it, the pleasure to admire it.
For me, undisputably, it is one of the 5 most desirable watch Lange ever made.
This watch has all: Class, distinction, elegance, sensuality. From the recto side to the verso side, a pure marvel.
With the two others from the Top 5:
If I had to do it again, the Langematik Anniversary would be the one I would re buy... Even over the Datograph, to give some company to my sublime 1815 Moonphase which feels so lonely!
Best,
Nicomaso.
I don't know but for some reason I find Lange platinum watches exceptionally well executed.
One would think that rose gold or yellow gold would be the matching metal for all the romantic Langes, but platinum gives them also a cool, ueber-elegant appearance.
A L1, L1 mp, the current annual calendar, the Daymatic ... all look fab and I o not see this with any other brand ... no, even after a short moment of thinking.
And yes: it is a masochistic post!

You have the Fab 5!
Plus, Platinum gives a lot of density to watches which are not too big, which provides a nice feeling on the wrist.
Yes, definitely a masochistic post!
Best, Count.

I know the " miss " feeling... Too well.
Thanks, my dear Joe.
All the best,
Nicolas
I certainly agree with you choice of the fab five. I would take them over the newer complications anytime.
I have a feeling you will re-possess the Langematik Anniv. one of these days ....... and then the Dato.
What a fab trio to see altogether!
This is a painful post!
Best my friend.

So, maybe one day, unless I choose another enameled one, you know, the a bit bigger one....
Best, my dear friend.
Nicomaso.
I miss the most!
Best, my friend.

Look at a Patek WT, for example, or a JLC MUT, or a JLC Duometre, or some Vacherons from the begining of 2000s ( without havong to mention the vintage ); or some Breguet from the same era, or...
Best,
Nicolas
The Emil Lange is more refined, the Anniversary is more sensual. The cocktail is explosive.
Best, Chris.

Duometre à QL Enamel or Langematik Anniversary or Duometre à Chronographe, or Duometre UTT....
You see, a tough decision....
Best, Ling!
Absolutely agree with you, Nicolas my friend.
I loved this watch so much that I acquired two, one as a daily wearer and the other as a backup.

A happy duo.

A harmonious trio, with another member from the top 5.

A heroic quattro, in illusion of reflection.
Now I don't wear the Anniversary often, but it still remains my most favorite watch. I let go the unused one, but still have one left. Definitely a keeper for me, for good.

I have to agree with you, sadly, on the bygone era...
Best, Mo.

A digital hour, ok, digital minutes, ok, but both is too much for me.
It makes me think about these damn transistor alarm clocks + radios from the end of the 70ies.
Best,
Nicolas
