My daughter and I had a pow wow and decided that a car as special as the speedster needs a little more pop in color. So when my dealership called me to ask if I was possibly interested in the red. I quickly asked my daughter if she might be interested in a little change of color. Well here it is. The speedster is a forever car for me I just changed the color. Also the red just felt a little faster😉 Hope you guys like it.
A Speedster is good in any color! I'd probably want one in some slightly fun color. Something light colored and fun. Maybe have to do Paint To Sample. GT Silver isn't bad neither, a bit conservative, but not bad.
I don't think so Kevin, if you do a national search there are only like 10 or so available in the nation out of 1948 examples.

I think these will eventually be gobbled up and it will then follow the trajectory of the 911 R, 997 4.0 RS, CGT and 918 with time. This will unequivocally be the last NA speedster they offer with emissions tightening. If you think they are pricey now wait 11 years when the next speedster is released.
I don't anticipate a significant decrease and will hold like all limited and gt3 variants. It's just interesting that 2 came in within a month or so. Was joking that the VIPs (those who had 918 factory order) both sold to cover equities. I hope!
Then maybe more of us mere mortals might have a shot at the limited editions at list. Although the current environment has everything asking over list including base Carrera's.
I would just think it’s risk to have VIPs of my brand be miffed at me. But it sounds like these were special case VIPs based on the 918…which eventually started to annoy other true VIPs, if I’m not mistaken. Again, credit to Porsche.
I think Porsche knows that their established collectors will not leave them and it allows new collectors to come into the fold when the VIP program ends.

I respect that from them, although I wish they would crack down on dealerships charging ADM. Hell, have it be a random drawing for qualified buyers for the special cars. I'm all for that, at least everyone get's a shot. I placed an order for a 992.2 TTS and I was asking the SA what about the new RS? Although, I already have an allocation through another dealership I was curious to hear what he had to say. He told me, they won't consider anyone for an RS allocation unless you have spent $2M dollars at the dealership. It's gone crazy.
A good buddy car collector friend of mine asked me what my wife thought? He said please tell me she hates it, because if she does then you bought well. I told him my wife always hates every car I buy so I'm always buying well
