As we recently mentioned Saab, and the Sonett, here are some pictures I found on the Net.

A modest engine, the Ford V4 1, 7 delivering only 65 HP, but a light car ( 900 Kilos ).
And definitely not the idea with have of a Saab!

Something I never knew was the max rev speed of that Ford V4 that was designed for industrial applications. Interesting Saab and not bad looking but 65hp at 5500 rpm isn't very sporty.
I had a friend with one of those and it was a delight...
right up until he turned off his headlights in an attempt to evade the police and wrapped it around a tree
Remarkably without fatal outcome or even very serious injury
he wasn't too bright - turning his headlights off caused him to not see the tree but they didn't dim their headlights and could see him, just fine!
