I actually did get a chance to try on a Cubitus the other day. It was not so bad in the metal! A nice watch, not an abomination like I'd thought from pictures, but still very very clearly a lesser watch than the 5711.
Both are cool
steel sports watches. I’m sure the Cubitus will have its moment too in the future. I think I’d get the Cubitus now, its design looks more modern.
I have one like this and enjoy it. No spare funds for a Cubitus. The Cubitus is definitely better than its initial reputation. For those who understand French here is a very interesting link to a YouTube

I have the 5711 but I sometimes dream of exchanging it for the 3700. The mother.
What a gorgeous picture my friend. 👌mine doesn’t get much wrist time any longer but perhaps I should give it a try again.
I didn’t see a Cubitus yet but have a friend who has several 5711 and bought a couple of Cubitus. He is very pleased with it and wears them a lot. It’s usually more interesting to hear what owners say about a watch. To him it’s just a different watch just as the Aquanaut.
Speaking of the Aquanaut…. it’s funny how people think the Cubitus is a rip off from the Nautilus. But isn’t the Aquanaut a rip off as well judging by that standard. The totally unique shape of the bezel was taken from the Nautilus. That’s pretty much all the design of that watch.
An other way to look at it is that one inspired the next and that shapes and design elements are informing the next piece. One could say Cartier works much the same way across models. I’m just saying I don’t see a problem with the Cubitus. It’s getting so. Icy head wind it’s almost beginning to catch my interest 🤭
I saw the Cubitus a couple of days ago...
...I didn't try it on. But it still has not convinced me that it's a great or even good design. It's as if Patek designed their own Frankenwatch...
Definitely this, the first time I saw a cubutus press release I actually thought it was Joke, literally and figuratively.
The 5811
Saw the Cubitus in person last month, and was taken aback by how terrible I thought it was. It’s ENORMOUS. I would love to own and wear a 5811; a Cubitus I would not add to my collection, even as a gift.
Despite the drawbacks of the WG I'd still take the 5811.
I'd rather feel its weight than have to look at the other.
Yes it will. It was just so hype we all got a bit sick of it. I hope that will die out and we can just appreciate it for what it is.
5711 is legendary.
Having said that cubitus is growing on me now that I’ve had a chance to see it multiple times live.
