I am writing to all fellow purists for some friendly advice for a friend. This friend loves collecting Patek watches and has asked my advice for his next purchase. His only rules are it must be a white metal and it must be Patek. I have included his current collection and if you can reply with what reference should be next and why.
Current Collection
5146P - 5135P - 5140G - 5130P - 5101P - 5102G - ?

a 5450 (if he is a high-tech guy)
or
a 5180 (if he appreciates all those fine arts)
or
a 5207 (if he wants a true Patek grand complication)
5004P, 5959P, or even the 5002G., since he already has the 5101P and 5102G(I presume)
Anything less is a retrograde step.

I had recommended to him the 5002P but he didn't want to make that big a jump yet so he went with 5102G. I have advised him that I would go with a repeater (5074-5016-)next or a chronograph (5004)as he does not have any of these complications yet.
I will let you know the next decision...
Thank you all for the input
...one - a classic chrono (5070, 3970, 5970 or possibly 5004)...
..two - the first of the contemporary chrono line (5960)
...three (my recommendation) - step to the classics and enjoy simplicity...5196. Plain and Elegant.

Sir, your collection seriously requires a chronograph as what you are talking about is either calendars or that awesome tourbillion, you badly need a chronograph and the best option is no other than the new launched 5070P in platinum, the dial is a true definition of seduction,..
p.s; celestial and ten day tourbillion. . . . Wow!
