hello, in april 2008, I send my 5004R to the patek service, to do and overhull and change the original white dial, by a special black dial, long, long time, the watch is back, FANTASTIC, absoluty different and unusualy, I show you some pictures with his brother........

So COOL with the black dial! Did you just ask them to change the dial? Or you had to provide any special reason for changing the dial? How about the description on the Certificate of Origin? Did they publish a new one?

I like the silver dial better.

hello I liked to change the dial ever, the changement whas do in the manufacture, the garantie show the changement of the colour of dial

They're both beautiful, however my eyes are more accustomed to seeing the one with the lighter-coloured dial.

However, if I had a second 5004R, I would also naturally pursue this route and have one with a black dial.

on getting your watch back. Interesting to see the black dial with the white (opaline?) dial embellishments, such as the the numbers. I thought the black came with baton markers?
