I've always admired the Patek dome clocks, however, they have only recently been brought into the spotlight due to the world-time watch with the enamel map. Each one of these are utterly beautiful and their large pieces and sections only show the greater difficulty they go through when they manufacture these enamel pieces. For instance, if there is one portion where the enamel colour doesn't emerge from the oven quite right, the entire large piece has to be discarded.
However, call me odd, but I personally still find the miniature enamels on Jaeger-LeCoultre watches to be slightly more fascinating. I think the intricate detail and small size of the Jaeger-leCoultre enamels seem to make the enameling process more difficult and therefore more coveted.
