Can't miss with this collection, but...
To go with the occasion, or mood, or... I would prefer to have choices with "color" as well. Brown, black or blue strap? Gold, white gold / platinum or rose gold? Simple face or complication? Blue, black or white face?
From this point of view then, there is no difference in choosing any one of the 4. Time to add more?

If I was given a choice to buy any four watches, thoses would be it. I just have not open my ones yet. I just hate opening the sealed boxes. maybe one day.

I watch is made to show the time and complications have also their funticions. That's what you paid for...
I can't imagine how you operate your watches through the box and inside plastic bag...
In one week I'll get my 5131G. It will stay sealed in my hands some seconds and within three minutes after getting the watch, it will be on my wrist. Okay, perhaps 5 minutes as I have to adjust the strap and put the watch on time. Wearing the watch gives the greatest pleasure and pride of ownership! Anyhow, we all do with our watches what we want...

I am opening my 5131G next Tuesday
on the same minute I get it into my hands.
Don't you agree that the greatest part of a 5131 is its dial. You have to see it in different light, different angles and enjoy its depth. That is a very difficult through plastic!
I guess some people think that the "value" is higher of a non-opened watch. Are you going to sell your watches so are you in watch trading business? I do not believe that any Patek is loosing its value because it is opened. Just get your watch service every 3-5 years and store the service documents! That is the way to keep your watch in a better condition than if it's staying in the factory packing. There the oils are just getting dry.
I am not in the business of selling my watches. However, if I would decide to sell my 5131G say in 5 years, I would get it serviced and sell it after the service. If the watch is serviced by i.e. Patek Philippe Geneva, it is at least as good as new!
So enjoy your watches, wear them, admire them. That is the intention! Would you buy something beatiful to your home, paintings fantastic carpet, etc. And keep those in the bank vault.
To me buying a fantastic watch and keeping it sealed is as inteligent as ordering a fantastic bespoken suit, shirt and shoes and then hide them!

did you get the last watch into your hands wrapped into plastic?
The charm of 5131G is in its dial. How on earth could I enjoy the dial of my watch through the plastic - or even worse, through two plastics.
If I buy a car I drive it. If I buy a suit, I wear it. If I marry, I enjoy the privileges related with married life. If I happen to get a wonderful watch, I open it and put the watch to my wrist. Good friends might get the watch for a night and even take wrist shots with Eiffel in the background!

Yu will get it for a night because
it is my only way of getting a couple of decent photos of the dial. I also understand that you need a night to analyze the package and decide if you like it or not.
Naturally, there is a price: a post and your impressions of 5131G.
See you in just 8 days. Hopefully the weather in Paris will be as nice as ours here in the north.
