I'm guessing that this piece is a photography project rather than a personal journey, but if I'm wrong I apologise.
Nice technical skills and you've used the exposure and tonality to reinforce the emotions that you're attempting to convey here. The be linen in the last shot is blown (from what I see), but that's fine; it's supposed to be stark.
I have an emotional issue with the first photo as at first look, it immediately reminds me of drug paraphernalia, something in there to reinforce the medical purpose may be needed to outline the rest of the story here (a clip-board of patient history maybe).
Interesting and certainly emotional though.
and as part of an unfolding theme we have been following. Without the patient, the series becomes a larger story, and the unused bed and unused medical aids gives hint of a positive future. A lot going on and we can catch the focused nature of a personal situation. I also like the way the individual images of the series are ordered and presented.
