Like you I used to much favour white gold but of late I am now finding I like yellow or rose gold even more as just find the warmth of the colour more attractive.

Utterly fantastic (and new to me)! I also love white gold but rose is just as nice. Only downside to RG is the fade factor. Curious about the case size, 40mm?
