Thoughts on the VC dual from the group
I’ve decided to bail on trading my Batman for a ( based on feedback ) Parmigiani , I won’t trade the Rolex. Now I’m considering ( later this year ) purchasing outright this VC for the following reasons:
- 41mm is perfect for my wrist
- the Overseas case design feels Iconic
- no date wheel dial matching issues
- beautiful movement
- gorgeous blue dial and a wow bracelet.
- quick changing strap system
I have wondered if the dial is too busy, am I overthinking this? It’s Sexy as all get out!
Keep your Batman, and go for the Parmigiani.
As for the Overseas, go for the WT.

The Parmigiani is off the table, it feels a bit too dressy for me. The VC seems more sporty to me. Sorry, what is the WT?
The WT is nice but it’s considerably larger.
43 or 43.5mm if I remember correctly. In any case too large for my skinny wrist, while the WT is just great!
That WT is crazy cool, that dial is impressive! Sadly, my 12 year old girl wrists can’t handle 43mm.
OMG, the Everest is a stunner and a 41mm to boot.
Sadly, it’s probably more than my budget. I’ve found a few on Chrono24, waiting to hear on the price.
The perfect watch for the modern world.
I’m a fan. 150M water resistance which is better than the PF’s 100m so you can actually swim comfortably. Anti-magnitism so you can feel comfortable using your computer. Magnets are everywhere these days. Trinity. Geneva Seal. Three bands/straps. 60 hour reserve. In house movement has been up Everest so it can take a knock. It’s the perfect daily wear Trinity. IMO watches dont like this dont happen very often because they cannibalise the sale of other watches in the lineup.
Those are All excellent features and super desirable. I think it more of a daily watch for me Vs the Parm.
I’d have to try it on for sure, but suspect it’s too large. The nearest boutique is in Vegas, might be worth the trip before pulling a trigger.

So, I'll chime in... I say forget the Parmigiani - it's a nice watch, but I'm personally not a fan of the bezel design with the half-way hash marks - plus the Alpine Eagle looks amazing in my eyes. So I'd get either a Chopard Alpine Eagle XPS (I can put you in touch with a sales associate who will make one available for you) or a Bulgari Octo Finissimo! The Vacheron Constantin Overseas is very thick and chunky! Great as a sports watch - but at 12.0mm thick, it's appeal as a dress watch is limited. And this particular Vacheron Constantin Dual Time complication - will you actually use it?
This movement is so much nicer than the OVERSEAS movement. And it's Geneva-Sealed, Micro-Rotored, and the micro rotor winds in both direction!
Now that's a Vacheron I can really sink my teeth into.

That Chopard is sweet, especially that color dial. I do like traveling internationally but would I really use the dual time, probably not
I don’t mind a slightly thicker watch, fitting underneath a shirt isn’t a problem for me. The Bulgari’s feel to dressy to me. I do like the looks of the Ming. BTW- how deep is this Rabbithole?!
