I was invited to visit at the end of 2024 and it was an incredible experience: I got to see our time machines being manufactured and speak freely with the watchmakers. It was great to walk through all the departments including the metiers d’art on the top floor – a dream come true.
I took lots of pictures during the visit and the whole experience was surreal because all the employees we met were so open and transparent and happily speaking about they were doing. Not a staged visit but rather a peek being the curtains to get to know the “Vacheron family”.
I took quite a few pictures myself but I’m not sure what I can post here as I wouldn’t want to “hurt” VC (the only place where they explicitly asked to not take pictures was the enamel workshop where they were working on one-off pieces and wanted to keep secret the designs for their rightful owners).
