Gronefeld Principia Automatic.
It is a watch I have in my head since the first moment I saw it. Why? First because its case is damn cool. Then, because it is very comfortable to wear, complimented by a nice strap. Also because, for an automatic movement, I find it very pleasant to wear. And last but not least, because I like the Gronefeld brothers a lot.
Now, even though I find the dial very cool, I would like to go for another one, a white enamel, for instance, or a nice lacquered one.
Food for thought and imagination...

You make a very good case for a Great Case!
The case is one of the many aspects of my H. Moser & Cie. Monard Big-Date that I found so appealing. It makes me wonder why more watchmakers don't take the opportunity to express themselves through this medium.

Its a superb watch but unlike the remontoire this one doesn’t “jump out” as much.

I like salmon dials and although I really like that eggshell blue dial, salmon is much more neutral. This will be an everyday casual wear watch so it had to be steel, neutral and informal.
Very nice indie manufacturer. They have done well with their case, especially the lugs. The recessed seconds dial are always pleasantly executed. I never handled one though! [nt]

I love how they changed the logo to fit the character of the watch...
...with Roman numerals. Do they offer a dial with Arabic numbers? I'd like to see it...it would be Calatrava-like.
