I guess we all know the most common brands like Patek, Rolex, Panerai…
But if you have a rarer one that you really like, feel free to show it.

I’ll start with one from Lang & Heyne.
It’s about 30–35 cm long, 15 cm deep, and around 7–8 cm high.
A really beautifully made wooden case. I’m not sure what kind of wood it is, but the inside is lined with a red velvet-like fabric.

When
I found this morning an ad from Blancpain, and one of my thought was, when Patek Philippe was printed on that fine nice dial, it was not a fine peace for 30K but 110K.
Sure, there goes a lot of fine artisanship into a watch, but Blancpain is also respected, and it looks more refined. But that is my taste and thought.

even the outer box is very sturdy:
The most interesting one I've owned is from GP, for the Ferrari Scuderia
Chronograph Rattrapante Foudroyante.
A beautifully craft one for 9 watches! I should have kept the box when I sell the watch.

That Lang & Heyne box and watch are both stunning, and I can't imagine how big and heavy that beautiful GP Ferrari box is.

I really like both original old boxes and Breguet wood boxes are my favourites.
As I said I really appreciate the correct box for a vintage watch and then a stylish wood box to store a watch in. I know a lot of people don't and find having lots of boxes annoying but as I only have 5 watches now it isn't a problem but a pleasure for me.
