10x better watch than the 249 i once lusted after simply because crystal..

i cant wait to abuse the hell out of the crystal, plexi is my favorite for a watch of this nature.. last plexi i had was a omega speedmaster... after a weekend of fixing up the house the plexi was so beat to hell it looked stunning... nothing better than looking at the dial and having a huge gash across the plexi distorting the dial and giving it an aged look.. also when approached by hoodlums, a beat to hell plexi crystal can prevent your watch from being taken.. as you tell them "why would you want such a crappy watch"

the 15202Jumbo will now actually have to fight for wrist time.... trying to debate who to use as a strapmaker now... or possibly just keep the original strap as i feel it came out very well...

only thing that could be better, would be a hammer wind system.. but i feel it uses a new JLC movement... which i'm sure ha the ceramic ball bearing.. which emit a great sound none the less.... i hope the alarm is more pleasant than annoying.. annoying is good to get you out of bed, but pleasant always makes the day start better.

Thrilled for you Nicolas (and for all the others who will have their 68 before Christmas) but now a little confused. Also spoke to EV today (6 hours ago) and thought she said that the '68 would issue first, and then (maybe weeks, maybe months) the '65 would be distributed. Obviously though, some of the '65 are released already. Maybe it was a misunderstanding caused by all the excitement?  ;-)

The '65 you saw in my post are the one which were delivered to the guys involved in the " Polaris Project ", so my 2 friends , Y.O and Milan...

So, the others will follow, it's a question of a few weeks, I think...

...I'm so glad it's actually been released and also glad that you're one of the first to pick it up. Couldn't have happened to anyone else more deserving.

however, I'm also disappointed with the quality of the information supplied by the JLC rep here and the reasons provided. However, let's hope the rest of the world receives their Polaris soon, I can't wait!!

If you remember well, I previously said that the Polaris wouldn't arrive before end Nov, beginning of December....

They really are on to arrive, my friend, in the very few weeks to come.

Not all of them, but they will arrive very soon, now!

I ordered a Polaris, steel, and the dealer keeps on pushing the dates. Do you have any clarity when they should be delivered across Europe?

The first one landed the 21 st at the Paris Boutique.

JLC confirmed me that others will be delivered in Eurpoe and in the rest of the wrold at the end of this month, and at the beginning of December...

Let's say 2/ 3 weeks, to be sure?
