Number one fits to the "english" park (with lots of oaks ) and castle ...

... with a great view ...











On top there have been thousands of brants ...









... at the lake.

Next place was at a quite big lake and therefore ...

... with more than 300 PS ...



Let´s go ...

... after lot´s of (fun & ) sun ...



... but RO fits to the water as well  , doesn´t it?



By the way, we have seen a former "tower clock" as well ...

Hi Oliver,

looks like you have had a great vacation. I like the scenery of the hotel and the castle on the isle is really looking marvellous.

Of course the FF on the boat is smashing! As I mentioned before - a bigger wrist and this watch would definitely be on my wish list!
As to the RO - I´m more into the big ones with leaves that you photographed, somehow the watch does not speak to me, although I acknowledge its pure design.
Can you give me a hint on the whereabouts of  your holiday?

As tool watches, seeing them in their intended setting brings out their natural beauty--especially the fifty fathoms: such an elegant iteration of the iconic divers' watch!

Also, photographing the Royal oak on the boat highlights the engineering/mechanical inspired detailing, such as exposed screws and strong angles of the unmistakable octagonal bezel.

PS: I think we'd all appreciate some more photos of that boat!! What little we've seen of it looks fantastic!!

i'm only taking my Cricket nautical and PPro, but they'll both do the job. i wouldnt risk an expensive watch on a holiday regardless of how much i wanted to wear one.

Regarding your question, it is a mix of overexposure, "long" exposure time, M8 with 90/2.8 and of course Photoshop (but nothing sophisticated)
