Mechanical pleasures …
I’ve spent the day enjoying a couple of mechanical favourites.
The Omega Seamaster in the foreground, uses the famous Co-Axial movement designed by the famous English watchmaker George Daniels. Robust and accurate, it keeps excellent time and is perfectly suited to a day enjoying classic cars.
The “movement” or engine as we call in the background it is the epic Jaguar 4.2 litre designed by a very talented team including William Lyons, Bill Heynes, Walter Hassan, and Claude Baily.
The sound of one under full acceleration is one of the audible wonders of the world.

As far as durability, consistency and resistance
IMO the Omega movements are unrivaled. There are plenty of other great movements but NONE better!!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Doesn’t get much better than this . Movement and engine. A joy to hear that engine pushed, it certainly is!
