I just watched the new TOP GUN: Maverick movie...

Both the original Top Gun movie and the latest Top Gun: Maverick Sequel movie feature the "Great Balls of Fire" song quite prominently in both films...  And then the immediate news of this artist's passing the next day, was a bit of a coincidental surprise.  


What an iconic artist.

. . . many years ago in the kitchen of The Rainbow Bar and Grill.  Even though Jerry Lee eventually fired him, he was still a fan of his, saying he'd never seen anyone give more in live performance than The Killer.
