1- According to Panerai, P.900 is a renamed and improved OP XXXIV. It has a diameter of 30 mm, 25 jewels, 72 hours PR and a frequency of 28,800. The BM12-1975A is 28.2 mm, has 21 jewels, 120 hours PR and a frequency of 28,800. So, even if these two movements are engineered and made by ValFleurier, where exactly are the similarities? Even if there were similarities, how inferior are these products? After all, I don't see anyone complaining about poor qualities. Not sure of any of this but someone please show me something I can believe.
2- Prices of everything keep going up and value keeps coming down. Even IWC, another Richemont company has shared some movements with ValFleurier and yet their prices seem to be climbing too. Just look at the slew of Pilot chrono's they keep introducing. Every industry has cut corners somewhere while raising prices and this is nothing new. Automobile manufacturers, household appliances, food products, you name it and they all have done this. I am not saying this is okay but why are we singling out Panerai?
Lastly, I don't know Perezcope and I am not sure why he suddenly started this a few years ago but someone stated last year that he may have a bone to pick with Panerai. Maybe *that* is food for thought... until he can show us solid proof, maybe not.
