Officine Panerai

This past Thursday was our annual Panerai NYC dinner event showcasing the new SIHH 2012 collection.  The Thursday before was our Beverly Hills event (link to BH write-up is here: http://panerai.watchprosite.com/show-forumpost/fi-717/pi-5365838/ti-799488/s-0/). 

It's going to be tough day as my flight from LAX to JFK is 6:30am in the morning so I have to wake up at 3:45am.  No pain no gain!

I had a chardonnay with my mixed nuts and dried fruit after takeoff, so I'm off to a good start in the morning.

My stomach is still growling and here's the morning appetizer to munch on:

followed by a delicious cheese omelette which hit the right spot.  I'm just about to pass out from food coma which is my goal to help pass the 5 hour flight

My companion for the trip was my trusty and reliable PAM195. 

Time flies by so fast and my plane is almost into JFK.  The cabin crew serves us chocolate chip cookies to prepare us for NYC. 

My plane lands and I take an arduous hour long taxi ride in NYC traffic to my hotel.  This is one thing I definitely don't miss having lived in NYC for many years - the rush hour traffic.  The lack of sleep from culmination of prior nights is hitting me now, so I take a power nap.  I then hop into the shower to wake up and get ready to tonight's Panerai dinner event.

I'm feeling good now and off I am feeling energized to get ready to play photographer and host for our NYC Panerai event

Guests begin to trickle in at the Panerai NYC Boutique on Madison Ave.  A vast majority of the people tonight are new faces and are attending their 1st PuristS event.  All photos below are posted in chronological order, so you get a better feel of the order of events.

Panerai North America President Rafael Alvarez is showing various Panerai's to this couple.  The lady seems to be intrigued with the beauty of Panerai and seems to be attached to this particular Panerai.  I didn't get a close look of which Panerai model she had strapped to her wrist, but I think the deadly Panerai virus started flowing in her veins that night! 

Everyone's having a great time including these 2 lovely ladies from Panerai's NY marketing office - Elizabeth (left) & Lindsay (right).  What beautiful smiles!!

New friendships are being formed as fellow PuristS introduce themselves to each other.

The wait staff bring out plenty of hors d'oeuvres throughout this cocktail hour.

Everyone's trying on the new SIHH 2012 watches on his/her wrist...

We all begin to head out of the Boutique and walk around the corner to Core Club which is a private membership club where we're having our dinner for the night.

And here's a picture of the chocolate mousse cake.

Conversation at our table was very exhilarating, stimulating, and intense as we chatted about the new Panerai watches which made their rounds around to the tables, life itself, relationships, and our work.  I've never had such a fun and passionate chat with every single person on our table.  And of all the events I've been to, this was hands down the best conversation I've ever had with any group of people.

I had a memorable time this night, and I hope the other 2 tables had as much fun as we did on our table.  We didn't leave Core Club until 11:30pm!

Anyways, a big thanks to our host Panerai once again for hosting 2 great events in Beverly Hills & New York City.  We get to learn not only about the new Panerai watches but also about ourselves and each other at these amazing events.
