Officine Panerai

Excellent event!

I attended the event last week with a friend and we both had a great time.  Anthony and I were seated at the same table for dinner and I agree completely with him, it was great conversation and a great group of people!  My friend isn't as big a watch guy as me, but it's always great to see the reactions of people because he fell in love with the PAM 438 and has been talking about it since the dinner.  For me, I think there is a 388 in my future!  Great to see you again Anthony and thanks to you and Panerai for organizing a fantastic event!

Another great event with Panerai

Looks like another great PuristSPro event with Panerai.  Thanks for the photo report Anthony.

Nice work Anthony! and looks like a fabulous time was had in NYC like we did here in LA!

Thank you to PuristSPro and Panerai!

Sooner or later I'll manage to get to one of these...

..perhaps after the taint of my TZ moderator status wears off.

;-)

In the meantime, I was able to attend the Tuesday event with Ben, and I must say that while I was convinced going in that Panerai had nothing left to offer me (the 372 really pushes all my 'risti buttons), Rafael proved me wrong when he took out the Tuttonero and put it on my wrist.  Yup, it looks as though there's another Panerai in my future.

Otherwise, the Core Club certainly was a trip, though I think it's fair to say that I was sufficiently inebriated halfway through dinner that my memory of the place is a bit hazy (there was food from the Le Cirque guy, a young tenor doing his thing, a huge Kenny Scharf hanging over a banquette and enough champagne to drown an elephant...).  Heck, I doubt I could find the entrance again.  Still, it is nice to see how the other half of the 1% live, no?

Great report, Anthony!

Regards,
Adam

Favorites from the NYC event?

 By: Stefan2 : July 9th, 2012-06:50
For those attendees (including Anthony of course), which of the 2012 pieces were your favorites?

For me, it was the 422 as I posted earlier.   Would love to know what some of the other favorites were.

Or which pieces did the boutique staff get the most inquiries/interest?

My favorites are the PAM398 / 399

One of the sexiest Panerai's made so far IMO.

Cheers,
Anthony

Agreed!

One of the best indeed.   I hope more will be produced.

Don't recall this was available for view at the NYC event (?)

The PAM398 and PAM399 were available for viewing at the NYC event

Hopefully the NYC Boutique will have them on display again sometime.  It's best to call them to see.

Cheers,
Anthony
