What is the official Rolex stated service period for a new Sub or GMT? And how long does it usually take for service to be completed? Omegas new movements are 10 years between cleanings…the older ones 4-5…
But I just had my seadweller serviced for the first time in over 20 years. Before I took it to Rolex several times and after testing they said I didn’t need service. It took just over 3 months and cost about 1200. Like new and running like a song.
I can’t speak for service intervals but I did just get a 16710 back from service. I’m in USA and dropped off my watch at the AD on April 5th, they sent to Rolex service center (assuming Dallas RSC like previous watches I’ve had serviced) and the AD called yesterday with the watch ready to pick up. Basically 3 weeks for full service. A few years ago it took 2 months for a full service if I recall correctly.
You can wait a bit more before sending it for a service... 15 years is reasonable. BUT you should check the water resistance each two years, in my opinion.
