Well I must say that while I do love a watch with some good weight I was surprised how heavy it is. On one hand its cool because its a nice feeling, but I wonder how I would feel about it after a day on the wrist
I personally find that watches above a certain weight hardly get any wrist time whatsoever 🤷🏻♂️
But that’s a very personal topic - some other members absolutely love the heft 
Good point my friend. I do love a top heavy watch with a strap, but full gold is heavier for sure

This is one of the best Rolex any my favorite to own. Brilliantly comfortable weight, much prefer to the steel options.
You mention your concern about end of day comfort. For myself (and unlike other precious metal or even some steel watches), I am perfectly at ease wearing this all day. Not sure you can be sure unless you buy it unfortunately!
I do like heavy watch in general so I am sure I would get use to it! Continue to enjoy yours!
As many people from my country of origin used to do in the eighties and nineties,
Both the problem about the weight and the price could be easily circumvented keeping most of the watch appearence.

Do you want this one specifically? If so and if it makes sense financially, go for it. I see what you mean with your scarcity commentary, I’m no Rolex expert but a gold watch probably is scarcer then it’s steel counterparts, makes sense.
Actually I was not looking for this reference. I only tried it because they had it in stock. While I find it super nice, I am still undecided

But that MSRP is a tough pill to swallow! Personally, I prefer steel. In fact, I’m still waiting for a FF in steel!

Thanks for commenting my friend. While i was looking for a Day Date as a Rolex gold watch this one is even more under the radar which i like a lot
