Albino 79160. I did find a nice one, but the price was wrong and as I’m at the drop phase now, one has to be careful of wide buy sell spreads as it limits the number of times you can grab opportunities.
I saw the 94200 on a site that doesn’t cross post on popular platforms and it ticked all the boxes. I’m not a Rolex person per se as production numbers vs vintage price don’t seem to align these days.
The Tudor/Rolex crossover of the 94200 solves all of that for me.
Comparing it to the Daytona of that period exposes its insane value, or vintage Daytona’s insane valuation.
Also it’s cool and a watch nerds watch.(that oddly sums up my evolved philosophy on collecting)
