Enjoy your stay. I really love your Tudor. A perfect travel companion. I’ve actually looked at it several times but I already have an Explorer 1 for many years and decided they where to close to each other. I have one Tudor that I enjoy and treat as a true tool watch. Here is my beater
I’m flying home tomorrow but it’s been a very nice week in a place I’ve enjoyed very much.
Just as you did for the BB36, I’ve tried on your Pelagos 39 twice, as well as the bronze BB58, and I was tempted each time, but ended up thinking my BB36 was enough for me, as I only wear this type of watch briefly during summer.
These three watches (1st gen BB36, Pelagos 39 and BB58 bronze) share a detail which I really like, the snowflake seconds hand, which, sadly for me, is now replaced on many models by a lollypop hand (I personally like it less). Best, Emmanuel
The first gen BB36 is a very nice simple GADA watch. Good looking (very clean semi-dark blue lacquered dial), great legibility, incredible lume (photo found online, not mine, but very faithful to reality). Best, Emmanuel
