Interesting; how was the Alsace - Riesling 2008 ? A very old wine in the standards ? Was it still drinkable ? I have no doubts about the others, except maybe the 1988 Krug, as Champagnes are not notorious for their long term drinkability ?
Clos st Hune is in my humble opinion by far the best riesling on the planet, with amazing complexity and aging capabilities. I drunk few 90s this year still totally in prime time.
....provided stored well---quite unique in its flavours vs rest of Alsation rieslings. Others with similar aging qualities would be grand crus from Zind Humbrecht and Domaine Weinbach,albeit different in style
