You bet Ron! unfortunately he doesn’t have his liquor license yet ( in Maui it takes more time than it should ) we brought some sake.
That is so well said! I think presentation changes how your mind processes the taste, that’s my experience anyway.

i have a shellfish allergy, so not the easiest person to accommodate…he did.
Glad you enjoyed it, my wife and I love the food and talking with the chef. It can get quite pricey though.
That’s not too bad, my wife and I are in Japan now and we have had some great food. We have gone to six different cities and have sampled the specialties of each location.

Good omakase is one of the best dining experiences IMO. Last year I had a great omakase meal in Los Angeles at Morihiro. Delicious food, and a wonderful interaction with the chef in an intimate setting.
