refer to this dial finishing technique as "diamond dust", It has sparkling flakes all over the place. And yes, very clean and substantial, with the watch case being 43mm in diameter.

Interestingly, my coming Credor Eichi II also has a white dial and is also in Platinum. But sufficiently different from this one

The SBGD201 just exudes quality and high craft and has got some serious wrist presence that's hard to convey through photos.

Certainly one of the brand's flagship models !

how did you manage to get both in such quick succession?

I was able to order both pieces from an AD in Geneva. They do not officially sell Credor but were able to secure Eichi II from Seiko nonetheless!

I have this watch since almost two years now and for me if one looks for the ultimate in craftsmanship and horologically meaningful hand wound - pure - watch there is this and the Voutilainen 28SC. Congrats again and enjoy!

I am glad you have reached this horological dzen two years ahead of me - and am happy to finally catch up I too deem this watch very significant, but can bet that Kari would frown upon it for having a quartz regulator, being a purust who only sticks to traditional watchmaking ways. E.g. he seems to be against silicon components etc.

About Kari and the topic of the regulator. I have studied a lot about the Spring Drive, and it is a horological grail for all major manufacturers including Patek, Breguet, etc since the 70s. The fact that Seiko committed to its development from 77 till the late 90s to make it a reality commands only my respect. AP tried to license it from Seiko, and a couple more top end Swiss houses.
So, it is a horological milestone imho, and in case someone gets exposed to the accuracy of the Spring Drive or its sweeping seconds, then it is hard to go back from that.
Then, if you add the fact the GS spared no effort to make this the best watch it can possibly create (see hard pressed platinum vs melted one, the movement materials/thickness/Dufour level finishing, etc) and then you can see why this is a pure masterpiece.
