I don't know how you feel about magnified date windows...

...but I think they're a pretty bad idea in general. As much as I love my new Pasha this particular date magnifier is almost comically bad. If you're not hovering DIRECTLY over it you'll never discover its meaning.
With magnifier or without magnifier, I am not a fan of date windows on any watches.

All of my recent acquisitions, except a WG Submariner, have no dates. And the one's I have with dates, are subject to being "chopped". I prefer simpicity and the cleaner the dial the better for me. That said, I think your Pasha has an interesting approach to that function.
Nice thing about them is the huge variety of sizes and functions to choose from. The 35mm suited me perfectly. Far be it from me to encourage you to go out and buy another watch but for the money it's a pretty excellent value...just sayin'...
If you must have a date and cyclops, then the cyclops should be under the crystal . . .

. . . like this 1957 G-P reference 7317. I have never understood why a cyclops is stuck onto the top of a crystal. It spoils a watch's profile, especially a thick Rolex.
