My two favorite Journes
The two F.P. Journe Anniversary Tourbillons, the T30 and the T10, are my personal favorite F.P. Journe watches.
The T30 was created in 2013 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the completion of Journe's first Pocket Watch, which was a Tourbillon, in 1983.
The T10 was created in 2014 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the opening of the first F.P. Journe Boutique in Tokyo jointly with the opening of the 10th Boutique in Beirut.

I don’t think there’s a Journe I don’t love.
Just degrees. But I find it interesting that you picked two watches that do not have the very distinct and recognizable FPJ design language. both rare and beautiful inside and out.
True, these two differ a little from the more usual distinctive FPJ design.
But I love the pocket watch inspiration and the overall purity of the design.
And the Tourbillon complication!

Very interesting
Most unusual and probably my favorite as I don't like the FPJ hands.
For me to.
Especially because the subdials feature the metallic frame which is characteristic of FPJ's design.
But I miss the hunter case back and engraved case flanks of the T30.

Not many Journe watches have been love at first sight for me.
But the T10 was one such watch where it was absolutely love at first sight.
It may be odd to say that, having owned several and still have others on my target list.
But for me, most of his watches needed some time to burn into the memory, to understand the design and understand why I like it. (I’m focused here on solely the look of the watch, dial, case, hands, caseback, movement etc and not on technical aspects).
But this T10 was different. Maybe because the dial side is more traditional, easily to understand and therefore the eye doesn’t need more than a glance to know it likes it.
Why the T10 and not the T30? The T10 is a more modern or contemporary look, and so suits my tastes better.
I had an opportunity to buy a T30 (used) when pricing was still very reasonable and still sub $100k. And while it is a rare watch, even by Journe standards, it just wasn’t a watch for me. If they had been a T10 then the story would have ended differently.
My preference goes to the T10 too, which I find quite fascinating.
Reason why I fully understand why it was love at first sight for you. And I really think the 10 owners of the 10 examples are pretty lucky chaps.
That said, I would personally love the T10 even more if it had two features of the T30: engraved hunter case back and engraved case flanks.
If I had the opportunity of acquiring the T10 or the T30 at a reasonable price, I would seriously consider it. But I known it'll never happen.

Incredible watches and maybe one of my fav besides the V series from FPJ
The T10 is so rare but that hunters case back from the T30 and the two tone adds something special to that one imho
I completely agree: I miss the engraved hunter case back and case flanks in the T10 too.
But I tend to like the T10 a lot because of the metallic frame around the subdials which is pure Journe DNA.

Both are incredible pieces of course.
That being the case, I'm not a huge fan of the two-tone look on T30. T10 is in its own league, but the ultimate perfection would have been T30 case with the hunter's case back 👍

I love also how Francoise Paul was able to perfectly miniaturize the movement of his pocket watch. It looks so… I can’t find the words to explain it better but… tridimensional, maybe?
And the guilloché on the side of the case is sublime!

The T30 is my grail. While I love and admire the T10 highly and it is probably the most wearable of the two, the T30 wins in my book.. I LOVE the silver case and for the the dial is more beautiful and impressively executed irl.
I almost got the T30 and had made a deal that was broken by a dealer. Now it’s impossible and it will probably remain a dream. That’s life but if there is a watch I would truly LOVE to add to my collection it is without a doubt the T30.
