Not the direct answer to your question but someone asked about MB&F on the Canadian watch forum not too long ago and my reply is fitting here.

What can I say about MB&F... Max Busser is the father of the independent watch movement. He started his career working at JLC and then moved over to Harry Winston to work on the Opus Project. I'm not sure if you are familiar with it but Google Harry W
