I do love Urwerk and I love their designs so I try not to let an otherwise anomaly case like mine define the company. In their defense what other company other than small indies can I get in contact with the owners? Martin Frei was wonderful in resolving everything and he cooled my concerns. My main gripe was communication in the beginning. These are not cheap watches so to not know what the solution was going to be was nerve racking. And exacerbating those concerns by ignoring my emails is not what I would expect from a sales director. Remy has since been pretty communicative but this all could have been avoided by being that way in the beginning. I had heard about the early issues in the 201 but felt that a company like Urwerk could repair a satellite issue. After-all satellites are their thing and it's not like we are talking about a vintage piece, it was from 2008. Their was probably only about 2 left on the open market and I was excited to have one of the two. But a watch first and foremost must be able to tell time and to be able to be serviced so although I preferred the 201 the 202 was a nice replacement. And the stars did align as only ten 202 BPT's were ever produced. So in the end, they did come through. Although my experience like I said, was completely different than yours (at least in the beginning).
