it comes with an 18k gold case marked Breguet, and a nice clean dial as well. And when he wrote to Breguet they said it sold in 1899 for 500 FFR on September 20th, 1899. I wonder if the movement didn't get switched out along the way... for whatever reason there might have been in the past 112 years.
Hi there! I promised to do a little research for a friend, but in that endeavour, I've come across a couple of people who have never seen this movement, and therefore have their doubts. Has anyone seen this movement in a Breguet?
Which model of Tudor do you believe would have come with this box. The box exterior is red - I've seen a similar brown box which came with its original Tudor Submariner, but with this red box, I have no idea. Anyone?

Vacheron Constantin 18k Curvex w/Exploding Numbers When I look under the loupe, the font looks good so the anomalies on the dial I attribute to warp in the crystal. I will study the dial again and others on this forum to be sure... but for all that I can see, the dial looks correct. Movement is Adj
