In my opinion consistency is more important than objective accuracy. By that I mean a piece that's running at a steady gain of 5s per day is IMO better than the one running inconsistently at a -2/+4 range.

This is especially the case if the piece is 5 pos adjusted because it's not really that difficult calibrating a piece to run at perfect 0s on a timing machine, but that's no real life and the seemingly perfect rate will be off the moment it leaves the test bench.

Richard , remember to emphasize your expectations while sending it back. Otherwise they might simply give it a spin in the demagnetizer , kiss the crystal guten tag and send it back your way ;-p
