Monsieur Journe mentions it as well when i asked why doesnt any of his movements hack.
What do you mean by the "right position" Xavier? I understand about pressing the button when the exact time reaches 60, but that applies solely to the small seconds hand only. Are you saying that one has to visually calculate the position of the minutes hand to be the amount of seconds it is behind the next minute index ( for example, the next "time" is 8:07, you have to set the hand at between the 6 and the 7 index) and then let it flow and "catch up" with the seconds hand much later? Isn't that a very tedious job? ( because our eyes isnt that good at precise coordination to the spot)
Don'T get me wrong here, i really love this piece and will probably get it ( more like definitely), but i'd just want to know how exactly is it supposed to work because the more i think of it, the more it doesnt make sense!
On another thought, this movement does hack when the crown is pulled, is it?
