36 mm YG 1815 was my first Lange too. What a gateway drug to the rest of the 1815 line-up!!

Yep: the very same - Peter Chong posted a photo of it and I fell in love: it was so different to a Swiss watch.

Yep: Lange’s best automatic caliber - truly gorgeous and technically accomplished. Just not in the hand-wound 1815 which recalls Ferdinand Adolph Lange’s values and the brand’s pocket-watch heritage. But, in turn, I understand your sentiment!
