Guten tag all, With the launch of the new Limited Edition version of the original Richard Lange for the boutiques, i would just like to share a writing that i gave to a fellow watch passionists about 6 years ago when he had a dilemma making the choice bet...  

Thank you for sharing this very well thought letter. Your insight into precise timing and taste in watches is very refreshing! The RL to me epitomizes what it means to be a watch enthusiast, It perfectly captures the understated elegence while maintaining... 

Let me arrange for the conditions to be right for that ok. I like what you say about the RL too, indeed, definitely one for those "in the know" ;) I am not sure whether you have an RL yet or not, but i do urge you to have a deeper look into it, the origin...  

I very much look forward to the family photo when you do have a chance to take it. I have not yet made the RL acquisition, work has kept me from pursuing it... hopefully later this year. I am waiting for the opportunity to handle the platinum version as I...

I really like the FP Journe Chronometre Bleu. Been wanting the Journe Bleu, the Lange 1815, or the Vacheron Constantin Patrimony for a little while now. How accurate do you find your Lange 1815?

So are you saying that because the CS isnt that accurate, it helps you to make the decision NOT to want the Bleu? Because arent they the same movement? As for my 1815, it used to beat around +1 sec/day when i was in Tokyo but these days in Singapore or In...  

The erratic accuracy of your Journe makes me slightly concerned about the Chronometre Bleu. It's not a deal-breaker, but it definitely makes it less desirable. The thing with the Bleu is that I find it quite attractive on my wrist, and these aesthetics do... 

I agree too with the fact that reasonably priced movements can be VERY accurate. My RL was for a long time way more accurate than even the mighty KING! Jaw breaking awesome! Tschuss Stephen

With a second or two per day - and more likely per week - the CS is keeping its own and can easily be adjjusted by position. The Bleu is struggling to keep up with more than half of that, but is relatively new and thus not fully run in - give it another m... 

And I should expect no less from you :) Your thought process, pursuit for perfection, and unwillingness to compromise are wonderful traits to have in your watch decision making. Makes me appreciate my RL even more now. BTW, did not know that the CS has no...

My RL actually beats better than my RL T PLM or my RL PLM at the start, so you should consider getting the upcoming LE, seeing you are not me meaning you would NOT mind it in WG ;) Yes i was fully aware the CS had no hacking seconds, but that was from the... 

and I can understand better now what are your interests in a watch. From what I understand is a major concern for you (accuracy), what would be the constant force watch you may be willing to acquire ? The last FPJ or others ? Or maybe doesn't it bring mor... 

In many aspects, the rate accuracy of a masterpiece when i wear it throughout the day is of paramount importance to me. Well, i have my PLMs with me, those are good enough for constant force, i wont be needing the remontoir if that is what you mean! Take ...

But i say this again, and once again, a masterpiece from the house of A. Lange & Sohne, would NEVER cause you to regret acquiring it. Damn, i need more funds, or rather endless ones like some of our fellow Purists here. More Lange, more happiness, and... 

Although I can agree upon many of your points, the bombastic style of presentation reminds me of another personality here ... or have you been coached by Bernard? To see, feel, and experience watches concerns all of us - but to go out and promulgate the T... 

This was entirely me, it was the 1st time i wrote such a long comparative, and i have yet to even meet the famous Dr in reality! It will probably be my last too, like i said in the prose that i dont have the time, nor i fear the ability to write one such ...

What an epic post! Thoroughly enjoyed your, nearly meditative post, many thanks for that. Regarding accuracy: with my first very humble chronometer, an Omega Seamaster 300, I did the test and put effort and time into keeping it bang on to the atomic clock...

I've owned both and miss my RL more. It was/is just so perfect. I wish for one in honey gold. That would be one I would absolutely go after! Best, OpC
