I like them both (thank goodness the ARCAP rotor is no-longer painted gold...).
Of the two, I prefer the original with the blue dial.
But I'd buy neither of them - and I've been given the opportunity to do so. Like others have perhaps hinted at here, I just can't sufficiently reconcile Lange making a sports watch. They didn't need to in my view - it's a "me too" move and it just doesn't fit the marque.
However, were an offer of an Odysseus Chronograph to have come my way (it didn't), I would've overcome my concerns and just said "Ja, bitte!". That is a stone-cold gorgeous watch that leverages both Lange's chronograph provenance with its black dial, and also the brand's DNA with its new movement.
