Hope this is not off-topic...
I struggled with that very same question myself! I have immense respect for Lange and I think their production process has more "honesty" than other brands. Perhaps I'm being naive but it seems the way they do things, it's really hard to ramp up production numbers quickly. In any case, I feel I'm not ready to don something that formal, so I found a way to straddle sporty and formal - in the form of a DB27! It is equal parts both and superbly comfortable; I wear it daily and it just won't come off!!

Secretlife, not OT - as I guess you had similar concerns as me. I am quite sure I will end up with a Lange, though - but will take my time to find that perfect combination. The fun is in the hunt!
