I have a very short answer ...
... for you Sam - wear what YOU like. Wear watches that make YOU feel something special when you look at them on your wrist.
It really doesn't matter what others think of you or your watches. Sure, it's nice when others share the same tastes as you, but even around here, amongst watch lovers, I know there are many who don't share my specific horological interests. But that doesn't matter, and is part of the tapestry of life. I still respect others opinions, taste and reasons and hopefully they respect mine. That way we all learn from each other. Learning what we DON'T like helps define us as much as what we DO like.
Does any of the above make sense to anyone other than me?!
Kind regards,
Andrew
Well said Nicolas!
