Personal preferences are just that -- personal.
I could care less what anyone thinks of what I'm wearing on my wrist -- I don't need the ego stroking. If I'm happy with my timepiece, that's all that matters, and I'd honestly prefer to fly under the radar with my watches. As long as you're happy with your watch, it's a great purchase. It's nice to receive acknowledgement from other WIS, but IMO if that's what's fueling purchasing decisions (along with such notions as "investing" in a watch that might appreciate in the future) then people following that path are likely to be disappointed more often than not.
Also, one man's Lange is another man's Omega (I happen to be a fan of both brands.). I love Lange, but don't believe it's the ne plus ultra in the world of haute horlogerie. So, enjoy your watch; wear it because it makes you feel good -- it's a spectacular beauty and a great ambassador for Saxon watchmaking.
Cheers,
Daos

That very same executive chairman I spoke of a few days ago was present during a meeting this afternoon and came up to me afterwards and with a smile extended his wrist showing off a Cabaret! I was stunned, it is the only Cabaret I have seen other than fr...
