Are you near a boutique? They should receive some occasionally so you can see and try it on.

...they had a few pieces to try on, but nothing in the Odysseus line...not even 'fakes.' It doesn't matter to Lange as they will sell to others even if I ordered one...frustrating...

But to try one on, if you are near SF, have them call you when they get one in so you can try.

...I don't have his resources and cannot buy 2 or 3 watches just to get the one I want... Btw, Nash at the boutique is a nice guy and very knowledgable...

I don't feel like they play games, not more at least, and in many cases less than other brands. My 1st Lange was a L1 Moonphase. When I purchased it, that's when they informed me that the L1 MP was a companion piece to the Odysseus. I didn't even know tha... 

...is a Cayenne a companion piece to a 911? My friend had multiple 'heavy hitter' Langes and they still asked him to buy pieces he clearly did not want just to get a 'chance' to buy what he did want. Hence his disillusion and divesting himself of many of ...
