Jaeger perfected the alarm ages ago
You have to look at (and of course hear) the memovox and reveil range of models that Jaeger has , to appreciate the pitch, tone and loudness of the alarm, not to forget that the duration of the alarm is almost 30 seconds. To top it, the designs are understated and elegant.
While I am a big fan of Lange, credit should go to where it is already due; and thus rightly to Jaeger leCoultre

That the Zeitzone cheapens the brand? It is also a "less noble" complication offered as a different solution from what others had done before, and with the Lange DNA. Fine for me.

The alarm is an especification (Untermerkmal ¿?) for tool watches. I think Lange is another thing, is much more.

You can also do the same. I'm only referring to quality of the finishing (la finition), the overall feel, not technicity. I love Jeager for many things, but each model i've examined has failed to produce the impression of superior quality that i expected....
