You can t compare Lange and JLC
2different brands,2different histories and traditions,heritage,number of production ,everything.
The comparison is not applicable.Lange, as we know it today,is a very young brand that chose a segment of the market and it s delivring quality watches for that segment,top tier.
JLC provides for all segment of the market and any complication available:sport,tool,entry level,dress,complications,alarms,tourbillon,qps,concept,repeaters watches,there is not a single part of the market that JLC does not cover.
If you compare,or "strap on te wrist"like you say an entry level Reverso and a PT Lange,well that is not a fair comparison,it doesn t stand,but when you know the Brands a little,maybe you compare the Duometre to the Datograph,The Gyro to the Turbograph,the master 8days Skeleton to the Langematik perpetual and so on....then you will see that both play at the very top level,in completely different ways but both at the top.....

That the Zeitzone cheapens the brand? It is also a "less noble" complication offered as a different solution from what others had done before, and with the Lange DNA. Fine for me.

The alarm is an especification (Untermerkmal ¿?) for tool watches. I think Lange is another thing, is much more.

doesn t cheapen but enrich the brand. certainly the striking Zeitwerk was a faux pas,so Lange shot already itself ion the foot with that first step into ding dong watches. Maybe a very clever alarm would have been a better first step,dont you think? Mo

You can also do the same. I'm only referring to quality of the finishing (la finition), the overall feel, not technicity. I love Jeager for many things, but each model i've examined has failed to produce the impression of superior quality that i expected....
