Today I visited the Lange Boutique in New York. My mission was to review the Saxonias I had been reading and thinking about. I wanted to examine these three: Saxonia Thin 37 (no second hand) in white gold Saxonia Thin 37 (no second hand) in pink gold Saxo...

The Thin 37 in pink gold. Lange has such a warm, rich version of this metal. No second hand! It just pops for me. The Boutique manager and I both thought the 35mm was maybe a bit too small for my 7.25" wrist, maybe because of the shape (of my wrist). She ...

..... And my personal vote is for the white gold version. Arguably the perfect dress watch.

the Saxonia 37mm is a perfect fit for you and as you know I personally prefer the rose gold but the white gold works just as well on you!

It seems the subdial rules out the third. At that point, either of the first two are fair game. The white gold would certainly be more subdued. Tough choice!

The more I think about it, the more the pink gold Saxonia thin 37 leaps to mind as THE perfect one for me. So that's what I'll be getting. As for when - I finally discussed it with my wife. We share in decisions about big purchases (to me this is big). Sh...
