My wrist size is 17.5. I guess it's just within the acceptable range. If you don't tighten the strap tightly, it will rotate on your arm, and then it will become unbearable after a long period of use.

Iconic pair of chronographs, and my personal preference is white metal as well. I've never been bothered by the heft of platinum, and in fact adore that feel!
