What is an icon? A Watch which left its mark on its era and / or which stands the test of time, that may be a good definition. We could also say that an icon exceeds te brand it comes from, to belong to Horology in general. Does Langematic fit into this? ...

Dato has definitely left its mark on its era and also stands the test of time. And IMHO no, it is not killed by 2nd gen, Lumen, etc. They live in parallel to the original. Regarding Anniversary- back in a day I was excited to go see it live and my expecta...

I have been hoping that Lange would release a black enamel Dato for the 25th anniversary! That would be the best of both worlds. Maybe for the 30th…
