when it first came out, I wasn’t drawn to the new aesthetic. Over time it has grown on me and I absolutely love the LTD ( 100 units ) with those red accents against the gray dial. I do think it looks better on a bracelet as I don’t love those two connecto... 

As I've never been able to try one on (I've only seen them behind a display window), I don't fully know what to think about them, but I globally like them. I think my favorite is the white gold version, because of the guilloché dial, which I like very muc... 

I agree with you Larry. I have never been a fan of this watch design, and it has yet to grow on me. Firstly it just felt like Lange felt pressure to get something into the steel sports watch category and this is it. Secondly, I don’t like the day/date lay... 

Even if ALS has given in to market pressure (that may be true), I sill find that they’ve managed to do things mostly their own way. Anyway, thank you for your thoughts Vetnov. Best, Emmanuel

For me, it’s the bracelet all day long with this one

And I like that it can be worn with a strap (rubber or leather). But the bracelet is very fine indeed. Best, Emmanuel

Your first photo of the Chronograph is an absolute cracker - what a stunning watch.

Yes, this first photo is quite stunning. But my personal favorite versions are the white gold (for the guilloché dial) and titanium (for the very nice shade of grey). Best, Emmanuel

If you do get a chance to try one in person, please share your impressions. I'm curious to know what you'll think. Of the two variants, I prefer the Datomatic to the Chronograph. That said, I'm not in love with the Odysseus aesthetic. It's nice enough -- ... 

If I ever get a chance to try on an Odysseus, I will of course, but it seems a bit uncertain as they've made these watches fairly inaccessible. And I regret it because I think ALS has done a good job at making a really personal 'sports' watch. Best, Emman...

Let's see, because it's not easy to get, and not cheap either... I'm more and more inclined for everyday watches that are easy to wear and match my lifestyle, and this one ticks a lot of voices in that field.

I took a leap of faith and bought one sight unseen. After staring at pretty much every picture on the internet and reading pretty much every review, I knew I wanted one. The steel one was always going to be the one for me—titanium wasn’t plausible and did...  

The steel version certainly makes a lot of sense. Still very hard to find though or to get an allocation. Enjoy it in the best of health. Best, Emmanuel
