I just recently decided to try this. I think it's the "goldest" possible Lange combination. I thought it'd look awful -- too over-the-top -- but I actually kinda like it. The guiloche dial and the wavy bracelet links are harmonious to me. But pure kryptonite to all those in the "not really a yellow gold fan" camp, for sure!

A charming perpetual this one. And look at the gorgeous patina on this particular example! Contrast the innovation and watchmaking here with Lange’s modern centre rotor automatic…the Langematik movement is a dense, refined and endless delight.

A preowned dealer told me years ago that the reason you so rarely see Langematik Perpetuals sold as full sets is because nobody wants to deal with the shipping.
