They don't really make a bad watch. Some earlier entry model pieces were known to have poor finishing. For instance the early 1815s had bad finishing. Other than that, everything else they've made has been a winner. I'm not personally crazy about the Caba...

You made a great choice even if a Datograph doesn't enter down the road. Hopefully you'll continue to enjoy it. I've found that different lines within the brand (and even different Lange 1 variations) evoke totally distinct emotions in me. It's very diffe... 

I have the same thoughts when I plan the diversity in my collection. So far, I have more experience with Patek and Rolex, but definitely will keep an eye on Lange 😉

I was very tempted by the white gold versions too, which were my first options for a while. But at the time to pull the trigger, it was the rose the chosen one 😊

The Dato is really tempting, and I know that I would wear it a lot. But I would have to do some adjustments in my collection to make room for it, and that's really the challenge 😬
