You know, my father was a butcher and he’s still a hunter. Next week, he will go in a farm to kill and cut a pig. But I know this pig has been well treated there and had an “happy life” even if the end is not particularly nice
I prefer to see him killed by my father rather than in a slaughterhouse where animals (and people who work there too) are really mistreated.
I’m not a vegan at all but I think we can reduce our meat consumption for instance which could mean less meat but better one with animals better treated in my opinion.
One day, we (humans) will probably all pay for our excess and all bad things we did towards animals and nature in general.
